Lovin' Fall Colour in 2015!

It's time to celebrate the fall colour forcast released by Pantone last winter in a pallet for an "evolving colour landscape" as unveiled by Lee Eisemans. " Reflecting hope, fun and fantasy ... and evocative love of nature".

Colour stories are beginning to feel the influence of the bohemian 60's, mixed with an effortless sophistication. Hold on to your neutrals in a resilient  Stormy Weather, or gently embrace the new Desert Sage to update your existing wardrobe with ease.

Marsalla is the 2015 Colour of the Year - a rich robust red - which anchors the fall pallet, and we've already seen it's echo in that bohemian influence mentioned earlier for cruise 2016.

We always celebrate any tropical influence in a colour story, and you can see it here in Biscay Bay, a subdued reflection of summer waters for those of us that can't bear to let go. It will look fabulous with greys.

Reflecting Pond is the new black, serious enough to anchor other colours, interesting enough to contrast your favorite black jeans. Oak Buff is yet another neutral (updated honey mustard).

These are my favorites, although there are 10 in the top ten. Check out the rest, and maybe listen to the entire run thru of how colour influences us in this video from Pantone. They've also pulled the fashion sketches from favored designers, we on the other hand, have great pieces in the shop for you to try :)

It's a great weekend to clean out your closet!
