Looking Forward to Spring 2017 Colours

It's a new year, and regardless of any resolutions you may or may  not make, life moves forward in colour. These are the colour forcasts for this upcoming season from the global influence of Pantone.

Pantone Colour of the Year 2017

Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute “Greenery bursts forth in 2017 to provide us with the hope ... Satisfying our growing desire to rejuvenate, revitalize and unite, Greenery symbolizes the reconnection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose.” Just like bamboo, it has an inner strength, while being flexible.

Each year Pantone's colour pallet is influenced by elements of nature, and Spring 2017 reflects an earthiness which mutes the brighter shades seen last year.

While the trends are available to designers and manufactures far ahead of the season, it is interesting to see how they will be used, and which colours will become favorites in fashion or home decor.

After viewing Paris runways and New York Fashion Week, Pantone looked at how their pallet was interpreted, and seen above reflects what you will see when you go shopping. In the article By Rosemary Feitelberg top three favorites are;
